You cannot. Hormones and plastic surgery can make you look like a woman, but you would have to be a woman already. That is why transsexual persons get the surgery, to make the body match who they already are.

The answer is both yes and no. It depends on the person, how you define "beautiful," and what you call "fully becoming." If a person is truly a woman in their core being, it is hard to say they are a man becoming anything. One opinion, according to various transsexual persons, is that they get the surgery to become more of what they already are. Surgery only changes the body, and if you aren't already a woman on the inside, surgery cannot put a feminine sense of self there.

Anyway, they can take hormones to grow breasts and soften their physical features. They can have surgery to obtain a neo-vagina, constructed from pretty much the same skin nature would have used. They can also get cosmetic procedures on other parts of the body. Those can feminize other areas such as the face, waistline, and buttocks. Rib removal and buttock implants tend to not be good ideas, and Liposuction can go wrong.

To be fair, not everyone who undergoes these procedures will have a good outcome. The best results are usually obtained when the person was on female hormones before or around the time of puberty. It is difficult to undo the consequences of a heavy bone structure, and difficult to undo the consequences of testosterone on the voice. There is no way to change the skeletal proportions to the female range. Neither hormones nor surgery will reduce your height, arm length, hand size, or shoulder width. Botched surgeries do occur as well. We see that enough with celebrities, so if you get surgery, choose whatever surgeons carefully.

If you start on hormones young enough and have good luck with your genes, you will have a good chance at being reasonably beautiful. Sometimes being of an ethnicity that is considered foreign to your area helps, like if you come from a people with a rather short stature and live in a place where women are taller, or if your ethnic heritage has little to no face and body hair. If all else fails, develop a beautiful attitude.

Absolutely. Some people who were born male believe they were born into the wrong body. One of the earliest public examples of this was George Jorgensen, a World War II veteran who was convinced he was meant to be female. In the early 1950s, he went to Denmark for hormone treatments and surgery, and returned to the United States as Christine Jorgensen. This story received a lot of publicity, as little was known about being transgender. By all accounts, Christine was very content with her decision and lived a happy life as a woman, dying at age 62.

Today, there is more understanding about being a transgender person, and it is no longer necessary to go to Europe for the necessary sexual reassignment treatment; but society as a whole still finds it puzzling to want to change one's gender. Still, some men have certainly transitioned to becoming female, and they come from all walks of life. It should also be noted that there are certain men who enjoy dressing up as women-- wearing women's clothing, wigs, makeup, etc., and performing as if they are female. But these men, who are called "transvestites" or "cross-dressers," do not want to have surgery and do not think of themselves as women; they simply enjoy the performance.

Yes. There is Transgender, where one changes their gender identity but not their genitalia. then there is Transsexual, where one changes both, gender identity and genitalia.
