It is OK to keep taking your sleeping pills. Antibiotics will not cause a problem with that. It is Birth Control pills which interact with antibiotics. Remember to take all of your antibiotics, even after you feel better. You want to kill all the bacteria and not leave any hiding in your body!

∙ 15y agoYes, there is no problem in taking those 2 drugs together. Ambien won't modify the way the antibiotic works. If the antibiotic causes dizziness or drowsiness, Ambien might exacerbate those side effects. But most frequent antibiotics don't have those side effects.
