It is OK to keep taking your sleeping pills. Antibiotics will not cause a problem with that. It is Birth Control pills which interact with antibiotics. Remember to take all of your antibiotics, even after you feel better. You want to kill all the bacteria and not leave any hiding in your body!
Yes, there is no problem in taking those 2 drugs together. Ambien won't modify the way the antibiotic works. If the antibiotic causes dizziness or drowsiness, Ambien might exacerbate those side effects. But most frequent antibiotics don't have those side effects.
Ask you Doc or pharmacist. I wouldn't , as many anti-biotics make people drowsy by themselves.
no
Yes but they have to be the right kind of pills. Some sleeping pills are 'safe' that is you cannot overdose on them. Take him/her to the vet, wehere they will do it humanely.
no
Read the instructions on the bottle. If prescription sleeping pills, you must follow the instructions completely. If over-the- counter sleeping pills, generally no more than 4-6 pills in a 24 hour period, but this depends on the product strength.
yes it is
Usually YES. Consult your pharmacist or OB/GYN to be safe, but I know of no commonly prescribed sleeping pills or birth control pills that interfere with each other. On the other hand, some people taking Ambien or similar sleeping pills have supposedly had sex or done other things such as sleepwalk or carry on a conversation after taking Ambien... and not remembered it. I'm not making this up. It is well-documented. So... take your birth control pill sometime BEFORE you take your sleeping pill. ;)
Heated blankets are designed to be used overnight while sleeping, so there's little risk.
Consult your Doctor.
The box of sleeping pills should indicate what a safe dosage consists of.Whether it be OTC medication like Tylenol PM/Nyquil, or prescription medication such as Ambien, the usual dose is 1-2 pills every 4-6 hrs, but you should always check the label and directions.
I did and nothing happened to me.Check with your doctor first to be safe.
Birth ontrol pills may not work as well while you are using Penicillin-VK . To prevent pregnancy, use an extra form of birth control (eg, condoms).
you loose counciouness and do stupid things.
that would depend on what type of sleeping pill you are referring to. a supplement like valerian or melatonin taken in conjunction with hydrocodone is perfectly safe. however, prescription sleeping pills like Ambien, Lunesta, or benzodiazepines like Valium and Xanax should not be taken with opiates without consulting a doctor first.
