There should be a good one under the hood I have a 94 with 4.3 that's were mine is for smog but there isn't but a couple vacume lines on that truck everything is electronic controlled
vacuum lock
Siphon it out of the tank. Feed a hose into the gas take and create a vacuum to remove the gas. Have tank or bucket ready.
i am taking out gas tank and there are lines ican not take off.
FUEL FILTER: Under the body back near the gas tank. Find the fuel line to the engine where it comes out of the tank and follow it tothe filter which should be attached to the underbody with a clamp of some sort. VACUUM LINE: Not sure which line you are referring to: If it's the gas vapor line from the tank to the engine, you should be able to locate it in the same manner as the fuel line. If you are referring to any of the vacuum lines on the engine, they will be under the engine hood.
small hole in the tank or in lines ..even rusted lines
The gas cap message can come up on the dash when there is a large vapor leak from the fuel tank. You need to check all of the vacuum lines going from the engine to the tank.
they are your air cleaner assemblies. the one on the right is for your air filter and the one on the left is something for your vacuum lines.
A gas engine does not have a vacuum pump. Vacuum pumps are used on diesels only as they do not pull vacuum from the manifold. Gas engines use vacuum lines (usually stemming from intake or throttle body)
Inside the gas tank. You have to drop the tank to get to it. watch for the gas lines and wireing when you drop the tank.
It is located in the gas tank
Probably not the tank but the fill tube, or fuel lines coming from the fuel pump
A vacuum line near the gas tank on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee is there to keep the tank from locking up due to an air pressure imbalance. If there is an imbalance of air pressure the tank will vapor lock and the engine will not get fuel.
