You can major in anything and still be accepted to PA school. It is only required that you complete the pre-requisites first. It is easiest to complete the pre-reqs which simultaneously completing a degree if you major in a science such as Biology, Chemistry, Physiology, etc.

Most applicants to PA educational programs already have a college degree and some health-related work experience; however, admissions requirements vary from program to program. Many PAs have prior experience as registered nurses, emergency medical technicians, and paramedics.

While there are no recommended majors, the critical issue is the completion of all prerequisite coursework. However, as mentioned above the entrance requirements vary from institution to institution.
