You have a religious belief and discriminatory ideal. While they may exist together in the same person, it all depends on what a person believes their belief or ideal requires of them and how they act on it.
One racist may be fine with just hating other races and feels no need to do anything about it, while someone of Islam may want others who don't believe their way dead, so they act on it. However, someone who's Muslim may be fine with others having different beliefs, while a racist may believe he needs to cleanse the earth of other races other than his own, so he acts on it.
