it was reckless operation in Ohio (minor misdemeanor) and it is the only thing on my record. this happened the summer before I started my freshmen year at kent state and im going into my 2nd year of architecture. ive gone 1 year without any traffic violations and plan to keep it that way. Will i still be able to get internships??
Yes, employers will do a check on you and find your history of activity. I suggest you face it head on. When you apply for a job be truthful about your criminal history and tell them you have finished your education and learned from your past. Take a negative and make it a positive
In reading your answer I think you are "ok". Your misdemeanor isn't much and since you were underage when it happened it can be removed from your record. You didn't hold up a bank. I would think there would be no problem with your internship. Good luck and consider working in environmental and becoming an architect in green technology.
A criminal background check is permissible if a prospective tenant grants the landlord / manager written permission to do so. That being said, most landlords do not look at criminal history as much as rental history and credit score.
i would say more towards history because of stuff like English Heritage, but in another way basic geography like erosion and stuff. if i way you i will take history. And TBH it is a bit to early to be thinking about careers, you will be thinking that you definetly want to be an architect but their is other jobs out their based around stuff like architect. Oceanography is concerned with changes to the water masses. Meteorology is concerned with atmospheric and climatic changes. Biology is concerned with the Earth's living organisms. Natural history typically refers to biologic history, but can also be applied to geological, oceanographic and meteorological history as well.

Despite the advertising of several commercial companies to the contrary, there is NO foolproof way to research anyone's "history" on-line. For a criminal history check (for instance for employment purposes) - go to your local law enforcement agency and fill out a detailed request - pay a small administrative fee - and you will receive a copy of THAT individuals criminal record.
