Your fiance can go with you only if the bride to be wants him to go dress shopping with her. My husband went dress shopping with me and we had so much fun!:) He even picked out my dress:) I found the dress of my dreams on our first shopping trip:) We both don't have alot of money so we did not spend that much on my dress but it was the most beautiful wedding dress that I have ever seen:) Davids Bridal in Raleigh, NC is where I bought it. Good luck and God Bless you both!:)

I that is what you want, and what he wants, that is how you should do it! My husband was insanely curious about the dress, but I have to say I enjoyed keeping it a secret and when the wedding day finally arrived, we were both happy that the dress was a surprise to him.
He was BLOWN away by the way I looked, and that reaction was SO wonderful to experience in that moment when it is just about to happen. The biggest moment in your life! If he had seen me in the dress before the wedding day, it would not have been as special.
Just to spite me, he decided to put me through the same torture and completely denied me any knowledge of what he was going to wear. I was afraid he would show up in some funny African tribal outfit, but when I saw him I was also happy that it had been a surprise. I had expected the worst and in stead I saw the most handsome man in the world in a stylish latte-colored suit perfectly accessorized!
The element of surprise is AMAZING, but I know it's not for everyone :)
You can give your fiance his wedding gift the day before the wedding or on your wedding night as it should be private when the two of you exchange gifts.
not after the wedding.
With your brother being Best Man to the groom and if his fiance is not in the wedding then she should sit in a pew on the side of the brides (left hand side.) If she is in the wedding party then she would be to the left of the bride at the altar.
Tell your fiance that your really sorry, but he is not the right guy for you. Call off the wedding.

the groom's wedding band
There is nothing wrong with wearing your mother's wedding band as long as your fiance is fine with that idea. Often if a wedding band is handed down from one generation to the other it's acceptable to wear that band.
