i owned a 91 Ford Taurus and now own a 96. they all use the same size and that's 5x7AnswerThat's funny...my '96 Sable takes a 6 x 8 speaker. Answerfront door speakers are 5.25in AnswerI'm trying to change all 4 speakers in my 93 Sable... the rear ones are pretty easy to take out but i couldn't figure out how to get to the front ones yet... as for the sizes, i used this link: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/1497.HTML
Poor fuel or water in the fuel. Using the wrong octane fuel. For the 2001 you should use Unleaded fuel only.87 to 91 octane.
I would recommend a haynes manual, they discuss it thoroughly, Altho there isn't much detail about the internals. If you are just doing a swap, the haynes would be a good investment.
The answer is no. Not same engine either. 91 couger has a 5.0 (if its a v8) and a 3.8 (if its v6). a mark viii will only bolt up to a 4R70W transmission. A 91 couger does not come with a 4.6 ( The 4.6 Was not released until 1994)
4x6 in the front (dash mount) 6x9 in the rear kick panels (2 door ONLY) 6 1/2" round in the rear doors (4 door ONLY)
The speakers in a 1991 Lincoln Town Car are 6x8 speakers. These are also called 5X7/6x8 speakers. Regular 5x7 speakers should also fit fine in this vehicle.
There should be 2 - one is under the car near the right rear wheel well. It's a stone/rock cover over it - I know that has to be removed before you can access it. The secondary one is in the engine compartment, but my '91 Cougar LS 3.8L service guide book says "it should never need replacing".
