1. The knife was described in court as being very unique, almost one of a kind. That was not true. Identical knives could be purchased in the neighborhood.

2. One of the witnesses said she looked through a passing el train from bed. It was established that she wore glasses, so there would not have been time for her to put them on as the train passed.
