i have intense nerve pain on both legs following the rapid onset of a very bad bladder infection. doctor's all seem stumped. no side effects from sulfa drugs or others for pain that they can find as the cause. i am going crazy with burning/numb/itching thighs and calves to the point of being referred to a neurologist who put me on vicodin and prednisone.had an mri done the other day and results were normal so i think this rules out anything serious but the pain is literally driving me nuts.it has eased within the past two weeks but I'm not looking forward to returning to work with this pain. hopefully, it'll either go away or doctor can find cause to treat this problem head-on.if you find anything out on your own, please post and I'll do the same. good luck to you!

It is painful to urinate, your abdomen may also feel like you did a 1,000 sit-ups when you didn't. You may also feel like you have to empty your bladder frequently, and this condition can be cured by diuretic and anti-inflammatory pill.

The symptoms of a bladder infection vary depending on the severity. You'll immediately notice changes during urination. As the infection progresses, pain also occurs.

Some of the most common symptoms include:

cloudy or bloody urine

urinating more often than usual

foul-smelling urine

pain or burning when urinating

a frequent sensation of having to urinate, which is called urgency

cramping or pressure in the lower abdomen or lower back

Bladder infections can also cause Back pain. This pain is associated with pain in the kidneys. Unlike muscular back pain, you might experience pain on both sides of your back or the middle of your back.

Yes. Bladder infections often become kidney infections, and the kidney infection can cause both back pain and side pain.
