• Thou shalt NOT spam anyone - even your friends! Even friends get tired of junk mail !
• Thou shalt NOT use "Forward" on all the "cute", "humorous", "just beautiful", "virus warning", "lady walking for (a) cause", "God walking for (a) cause", "I.Q. Test", "Free (something) if you keep fowarding this", or "petition" type e-mails. Thou SHALL check www.snopes.com to see if warnings are false AND actually read the entire snopes article, ~before~ sending it to anyone else!
• Thou SHALL put a salutation at the beginning of every E-mail, just like writing a paper letter; persons like seeing their own names at the beginning of a letter when you address them. Thou also SHALL sign your name at the bottom of the E-mail, especially on List Groups or other group E-mails.
• Thou SHALL use whole words in E-mails rather than abbreviations, and shall at least try to show that thou art educated. List E-mails remain available for many years on the internet, so your words can follow you a long, long time. Make your best appearance in each E-mail you send. If you use proper grammar and spelling all the time, you'll never be emarrassed in the future.
