There are two groups of mineral nutrients found in soil including "Clay", they are called called "Macronutrients and Micronutrients" amounting to 13 total. First group in Macronutrients is called the primary nutrients and secondary nutrients, plants use huge quantities of the Macronutrients and generally need to be added to the soil by farmers and gardeners for healthier plants.
Primary group of Macronutrients are:
Secondary group of Macronutrients are:
The second of the two groups are the Micronutrients and is essential for the growth of the plants, these trace elements are:
Many elements are present in clay. But speaking of the most occurring minerals, the minerals present in clay are aluminum phyllosilicates, varying amounts of iron, magnesium, alkali and alkaline earth metal compounds. Also shale, mudstone, siltstone are present in minute quantities.somje compounds of chlorite and kaolite group are also present
Clay is a fine grained soil that has one or more clay minerals that are combined together. These minerals may include iron, magnesium and alkali metals.
clay soil can absorb more of nutrients and water as compared to loamy soil.......
it is clay soil because frist it is topsoil then clay soil and after that it is sand soil
Clay soil is sticky and drains well and loam soil drains but also holds nutrients well.
Heavy soils are heavy, high in nutrients and wet like the clay soil. Light soils are light, dry, warm, low in nutrients and often acidic.
Soils with high clay content are able to retain water and are generally classed as fertile. Vegetation on these soils is usually more vigorous and of greater diversity. A high clay content also means that the soil can retain more nutrients such as fertiliser for a longer period of time, therefore increasing the nutrients the plants absorb, and therefore, lol, increasing the speed at which the plant will grow! Haha there that's my answer.
Clay soils hold more nutrients, while sandy soils quickly have their nutrients leached by rain.
clay soil can absorb more of nutrients and water as compared to loamy soil.......
Because soil has nutrients that clay and sand don't have
it is clay soil because frist it is topsoil then clay soil and after that it is sand soil
Clay and organic soils hold nutrients better then sandy soils because the sandy soils as the water drains away, the water will carry the nutrients with it. This is called leaching and the nutrients will not be available for the plants to use.
it replacesthe nutrients that plants have used .Like rich dirt has the nutrients more than clay.
exchange capacity
I think they are sand, silt and clay iam not sure........ :(:(:(:(:(:(
Clay soil is sticky and drains well and loam soil drains but also holds nutrients well.
soil as there are more nutrients
No it does not unless you put a fertilizer in it I'm 9 so if you cant answer this wow your an idiot
If the plant can get established on the clay soil, it usually does very well. The problem is getting it established, as clay soil makes root penetration very difficult for the plant.
