You are never going to prevent extreme thinking and that is one of the freedoms of a free society. Again, if we provide education on government and the constitution there is a less of a chance of extremism taking over, but history is a balance of going from one perspective to another. Sixty years ago fascism and Nazism were taking control of governments. They still exist and have come back under a new guise, but are still the same people. The thing that scares me with Trump is by the time he is done the constitution will be shredded and we will have to rebuild a democracy. The ONLY way to counter act extremists is to have voters who understand the government. Right now we don't have that and it seems that the GOP is becoming the American communist party.
