In general, child support is a percentage of net income. In Illinois, for example, it's 20% of net income for one child, 25% for two, etc. Income includes almost everything, including overtime, unemployment benefits and workers compensation, but not welfare payments or SSI.
Yes, but don't expect the UK to honor your access rights.
You sue the person for child support. Just because you pay child support for one child does not mean you can not receive child support for the one you have custody of.
If the father goes to prison his responsibility for child support does not stop. For all practical purposes, he will have no income and will not be able to pay you one cent. Do not expect to get any money out of him while his is in prison.
Application must be made in the Florida Courts to establish access rights. If there is not court ordered child support yet established, this should be done in Wisconsin as Florida has a retroactive child support law, and anything provided without a court order would be considered a gift. In this manner, jurisdiction for child support would remain with the state of residence of the obligor. Of course, a motion to determine paternity should be done first, in Wisconsin. Setting up a voluntary child support order, without first determining paternity, can be easily done through the local Office of Child Support Enforcement, thus not necessitating the need to hire an attorney. However, if there is a need to first determine paternity, then a Wisconsin attorney will be needed. The reason for doing this first is that once support has begun, if later it is learned the child is not related to the obligor, the support order cannot be overturned. A Florida attorney will be needed to establish the the access rights, but there are procedures that can first be taken in moderating the cost of this action. See related links below.
It depends on your divorce decree for specifics. After that, whatever you can arrange with the kids and ex-wife should be ok. You should expect to pay for travel and to pay child support even for the periods that they are visiting you. Legally and by what is right, you cannot link child support and visitation as being a one in return for the other.

You have to pay support until you return to court and have the child support order amended to reflect the current circumstances.
Probably custody is the proper discussion, not child support. Child support is for living expenses, not in return for certain behaviors you expect. Certainly, as a parent, you still need to insist that the child attend school, even if it means that you are the one fetching and carrying the child to school. You definitely should be on the school's list as a contact for absences, progress reports and so on. There is no question that getting your child through high school or a GED at the proper age is important for their growth as young adults.
Yes they can. They can because if a child falls off something no one will be there to help.

If you live in the US... Parents are required to financially support ALL their children. So if you have more than one child, you will pay child support for more than one child. Did that answer your question? I'm not entirely sure what you're asking.
I don't think they give child support for an adult. If your parents wants to support you great, but at 21 it is not a must.
