Allergies can cause bloodshot eyes. Also, if your dog rides with his/her head out of the car window, they can get debris in their eyes that will make them red. If it continues for more than two days or so, or is accompanied by 'gunk', I would take the dog to the vet.
your cats are probably trying to get away froma mate...... or they are fighting another cat or animal.......
Maybe something poked it! Perhaps it got into a fight with a cat?
There can be various reasons, infection and something stuck in the eye are most common. Whatever the cause, he needs a vet now.
Take him to a vet ASAP!
popped uvulas
No! It just means that there toenails are to short and the ground is causing them to bleed!...... jesss
He bit something that cut the one side of the mouth.
The dog could have an infection, something in it's eye, or have damaged the eye itself. It would need to see a vet asap for treatment as it would be a source of discomfort/ pain, and depending on the cause to save sight in the eye.
It can be mange, allergies, flies, or ticks. Thanks ERIC
eww and i don't know soz
It all depends on where the bleed is and what the cause of the bleed is. Sometimes if people lift things that are too heavy or they cough too hard, then its possible to get a bleed in the eye. known as a subconjunctival heamorrage. You should always consult your doctor or optometrist when you find abnormalities of the eye. They could sometimes be vision threatening.
yes it can
My dog doesn't.
As a pet owner, you should do nothing. If there is still a foreign body in the eye, take your dog to a veterinarian IMMEDIATELY. If the spike is already removed, I would still recommend taking your dog to a veterinarian for examination. Your veterinarian can prescribe medications to reduce pain and inflammation in the eye, which increases the chances that your dog will retain sight in that eye. Whatever you do, DON'T pull a foreign body out of your dog's eye yourself and DON'T give your dog any human medications - both of these actions could cause irreparable harm to your dog's eye.
it could be from a bee sting or a bug bite
no but i can bleed
You bleed.
