Cake Batter Is Changed Into A Physical Change
It bakes
Well when you put the batter in the oven, chemical changes start to act on it, making it become an actual cake.
The air bubbles in the mixture expand and burst, rising the cake, and gluten forms the crust.
CHEMICAL CHANGE turns the cake batter from batter to cake.
The heat hardens the molecules in the batter, and the cake becomes more stiff. So that is why if you cook the cake for too long, it will be solid. (I suggest making chocolate cake)
A physical change, because it's physical properties are changing.
When cake batter is made and then put in the over it rises and get fluffier. This is how the cake batter changes.
because it makes it yummy :)

The type of energy used in baking is heat.
Type of cake and list of ingredients would be needed. Possibly an acid causing a chemical change in something. Bananas or apples could darken the batter.

There are many good types of food that will change their state when they are cooked. For example, When cake batter is cooked, it turns into a cake. When a potato is cooked, the inside gets softer.
It varies on the size, quality, and type of cake. I did not know they sold batter already made to pour I thought you had to but the mix. In today's economy,it could be sort of expensive

It is not necessarily the kind of flour as it is how much you BEAT IT. Muffins should never be beaten. You beat the eggs, etc but once you get to adding the flour, it needs to be GENTLY folded in. The more you mix it, the tougher the batter becomes. Then you have a cake rather than a muffin.
Chemical reactions occur when baking a cake, there fore cake baking is a chemical change. Generally, if a change is chemical, the thing or things that have been changed cannot be reverted back to their original state e.g. you cannot separate the ingredients of a cake after it has been baked.
A type of cake that starts with "M" would be Marble Cake.
