they left him there for hours until three common salves put his corpse on a litter and carried him to his home.
they bathe in it foreshadowing an important part later on in the play.
Pompey is not a place, he was a political rival of Caesar who died in Egypt long before Caesar's assasination. It's possible you were thinking of Pompeii, but Caesar was not killed there, either. He was killed in the Senate building on March 15, 44 B.C. The conspirators who killed him were a group of Senators. Brutus, once a close ally of Caesars', was the most famous assasin. Cassius Longingus was another famous assasin, and a senator who was involved in the plot.
they did not kill mark Antony and he acted to get reveng by killing the conspirators.
No, he wanted to gain the trust of the conspirators just to be able to give his speech in Caesar's Funeral. In his soliloquy right after the conspirators tell us so. "Oh, pardon me thou bleeding piece of earth, that I am meek and gentle with these Butchers!" He obviously meant the opposite when he said he loved the conspirators.
Brutus and Antony.
The soothsayer for one.
They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him. They were two of the conspirators who killed him.
In William Shakespeare's famous play, 'Julius Caesar,' it is indeed vitally important to Brutus that each and every one of the conspirators 'bathe' his hands in the spilled blood of Caesar. In so doing, each conspirator will acknowledge responsibility for the killing, thereby legitimizing it still further and perhaps lending greater strength to the 'liberation' movement which the killing was intended to begin.
Antony does several things to the conspirators. After they kill Caesar he shakes their blood-soaked hands as if joining them. Then he turns against them by reading Caesars will to Rome and showing Rome his stab wounds, therefor creating pity amongst Rome's citizens. Then he and the conspirators go to war and makes Cassius and Brutus commit scuicide.
The reason Antony does this is to make the citizens/ the poor to go and against Cassius, Brutus, and the conspirators. :D
they washed their hands in his blood
The Conspirators washed their hands in Caesars blood because they thought they would be remembered for it. Also in the Bible when there was a death of an innocent man, Jesus, Pontius Pilate washed his hands in water- to show his innocence. These men were showing anything but innocence, they wanted everyone to know that they killed Caesar because they though people would love them for it. Do you also remember when Brutus was conversing with the other conspirators about not being butchers but sacrificers? And do you think sacrificers would wash their hands in his blood? No. These men became bloodthirsty butchers. 1.
They wash their hands in Caesar's blood.
to show citizens how generous caesar was and how much he loved all of them .moreover he wanted to make citizens angry so that they can go against brutus and other conspirators
He speaks publically, turning the crowd against the conspirators.
Because they where sick Romans, no other reason why then that.
Metellus Cimber engages Caesar's attention by approaching him with a seemingly innocent request. He kneels down and appeals to Caesar to reconsider his decision to banish his brother, Publius Cimber. This diversionary tactic distracts Caesar and momentarily turns his attention away from the gathering conspirators.
Brutus wish the conspirators could do to Caesar
