Racism is wrong. There are SOME misled christians who believe certain races, by God, were given superiority over others. But that is not the case. Most christians believe that God created all men equal, giving no race superiority over another.
"When a foreigner lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. The foreigner living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 19:33-34
If anything it promotes it. Some Christians are probably racist just as some people who are not Christian are racist.
What ought to matter to all Christians is that The Bible gives no justification whatsoever for racism since it clearly teaches that we are all 'of one blood', in that we are all genetically related, Christian or not. So the idea of race as we understand it today is foreign to the Bible and certainly racism is as well. Quite apart from, and in addition to what the Bible teaches about common physical descent from Adam, is the fact that all Christians are one in Christ and this in itself eliminates race as a factor also between Christians. I have personally experienced this to be so.
26And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Christianity teaches that everyone is equal in the eyes of God. Therefore there is no reason to treat people differently.
Christian teaching about other people is based on loveand this is stated by Jesus:
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.
John 13:34
You shall love your neighbour as yourself.
Matthew 22:39
There are also two important teachings in the writings of Paul about this:
From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live.
Acts 17:26
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:28
No one can follow these teachings perfectly, and there will be occasions when Christians, like those of other faiths, are guilty of prejudice and discrimination.
But there are many examples too of Christians challenging injustice when they see the laws of God being broken.
John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York, is from Uganda where he was a lawyer and judge until 1975 when he was forced to flee to Britain when President Idi Amin started a reign of terror against his own people. Archbishop Sentamu has done a lot to raise awareness of racism in British society and in the Anglican church.
Bible book of Acts Chapter 10, Verses 35 and 35:
34 At this Peter opened his mouth and said: "For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
. . . So if a religion that claims to be "Christian" promotes or tolerates racial discrimination within its membership, it is not practicing true Christianity.
Matthew Chapter 7, Verses 15-20) "Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep's covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].
. . . Just one of the ways to weed out false Christians from those trying to practice true Christianity.
Christians don't believe in racism everyone came from God and he loves them, he does not care about the color of a persons skin or who they came from; they are all his children and he loves them so very dearly. so Christians should love everyone
The Bible says that all men are created equal.
Additionally, races are simply created from people being in different environments, terrain, amount of work, and sun exposure for a quick briefing. The only thing it changes is the environment they were raised in, and the probability of a particular cultural view or level of education.
Racism is wrong. We may be different races, but we are equal, and like God loves everyone, love each other just the same. Racism is wrong in the eyes of God.

Baldwin and Hurston differ in their approach to race relations. While Baldwin focused on the division and discrimination faced by African Americans in America, Hurston emphasized the importance of embracing one's heritage and culture as a source of empowerment. Baldwin's views were more critical and confrontational towards white society, while Hurston's focus was on celebrating the richness of African American life. Both authors, however, highlighted the complexities and challenges of navigating race relations in America.
