I'm not convinced they do that much. Consider the example of Senator Inhofe, for example. His faith teaches that man cannot have a negative impact on our environment, and the millions he receives in campaign donations help cement this "thinking."
But there are other, more concrete examples. Skeptics think that if some other planet where humans are NOT driving SUVs is warming, that must mean consumption of fossil fuels here on earth cannot cause warming.
Skeptics also think that if CO2 rises historically lagged initial temperature rises in post glacial periods, CO2 cannot serve as a heat trapping gas during an interglacial period.
Some skeptics believe solar activity is causing the earth to warm up, despite no statistically significant changes in solar output over the past 40 years, or cycles of solar activity tied to climate across the past four centuries.
Skeptics think doubling CO2 levels cannot possibly have any adverse effect on climate, and that although humans emit over 30 billion tons of CO2 by burning fossil fuels, that has nothing to do with what is causing CO2 levels to increase currently.
They claim the planet is not warming, and man's activities have nothing to do with global warming.
And, they may be correct. Already, record cold and snows are happening in North America, Europe and Asia, and there has been no warming in the last decade and a half. If the planet is warming, where is the warmth?
Even the skeptics must admit, there was a warming period prior to the late 1990's, but they claim it was a natural cycle.
Again, they point to the fact that the warming has ceased and this winter is starting off brutally harsh and cold.
Global warming skeptics do not believe the geoscientists, engineers and meteorologists round the world. The skeptic individuals believe that nature is the primary cause of global warming and/or that future global warming will not be a very serious problem.
The American Policy Center (APC) say this because they are global warming skeptics. They believe that global warming is not happening.
There are people who don't believe global warming is happening. There are people who believe it is happening but don't believe that humans are causing it.There are people who believe all the climate scientists who believe it is happening and that we are causing it.
A: There is no one skeptics' view on global warming. Some examples are:Some skeptics say the world is not warming at all. In fact a few even say that the world is cooling, although this flies in the face of meteorological records. Some say that if the world is warming, that is great. They think that global warming means warmer winters and more agricultural production, with no ill effects. Some say that if the world is warming, they realise that there will be winners and losers, but we expect to be among the winners. Losers could include inhabitants of Pacific Islan nations and Bangladesh, and perhaps some of our own coastal communities, but a lot of winners will live in richer nations. Some say that if the world is warming, there is nothing we can do about it. Variations on this include denying that atmospheric carbon dioxide is contributing to global warming, or that we are too powerless to stop rising levels. Some accept that global warming is real and that greenhouse gases are contributing to it, but say that rising greenhouse gas levels are not the result of human activity. Some claim that the short-term economic cost of halting global warming is more important than the long-term cost of climate change. A variation on this is to say that the evidence for global warming is still unconvincing to some, so why pay a cost now for a future benefit that might not materialise.A:Some think it isn't happening at all. They claim that more recent temperature readings are tainted by the Urban Heat Island effect.Others think even if it is happening, humans bear very little, if any, of the responsibility for it.They also point to NATURAL cycles of the Earth, the Sun, and our solar system's movement through the galaxy.Others think that, whether it is caused by humans or not, the results are not nearly as bad as predicted.
There is, I think, no Global Warming Day, but Earth Day has been celebrated on April 22 since 1970.

i think in 1982
Global Warming.

A myth is an incorrect belief. No myths contribute to global warming.A myth is an incorrect belief. No myths contribute to global warming.
global warming!!!!!!
Well I think that global warming is really scary for people. Because people can't really do things. Do to global warming so they have to try and stop it before it gets worse.Mostly hysterical.
i think global warming!
