well it depends if it was a mean break up for example say he cheated on you then DO NOT be his friend because he'll just try to hurt you again but on the other hand if it was not a mean break up for example he or you just said maybe we should just take a break from dating then yeah be his friend its ok then to be your friends with your ex boyfriend only if it was not a mean break up! sencerly, secret chica ANSWER Unfortunately at this time he just wants to be friends with you and you are going to have to respect that and try to move forward. I realize it may hurt but in due time things will be better. It will be mature of both of you if you can break up without all the drama, arguing and ignoring one another that generally goes on. I do have to say though taking time and moving forward means not waiting around for him hoping you can get back together as it would consume you thinking and feeling that way when it may not happen. Move forward with happiness of the time you did get to spend together and happy to be friends. I realize this all sounds easier said than done but I can guarantee things will get better. Keep yourself busy, spend time doing things you enjoy with friends and family and you will see in no time that things will be looking up.
