What does error code E20 on a CD player in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix mean?

It means that you need to clean the laser lens inside the CD player. The same thing happened to mine, it lasted a week after I cleaned it. I took it out again, it didn't look dirty, but I cleaned it anyways and it gave me the E20 error code again. Hope it works for you!!
