It could very well mean your battery is dead. A good suggestion is to try another battery which is known to be good and/or carefully try to jumpstart the vehicle with jumper cables and another battery.
Did you check your starter?
It could be a dead battery.
Commonly CKP sensor or Starter. What does it do when you try to start it? clicks
The alternator might be the problem.
You need a new battery!

Could be the Starter or the Transmission
A single click and no response from the starter usually indicates a faulty starter relay/solenoid switch. It could also be a loose connection on the battery cable.
It sounds like you may have a dead battery. Have you tried getting a jump?
