Functions and significance of vacuole varies according to the type of cells in which they are present. Vacuoles have greater prominence in the cells of plants and fungi than those of animals and bacteria.
The functions of vacuole in general:
1) it isolates material which are harmful to the cell.
2) Maintains internal acidic Ph.
3) Exports unwanted substances from the cell.
4) Maintains internal hydrostatic pressure with in the cell.
5) It allows to support structures such as flowers due to the pressure of the central vacuole.
The vacuole is the storage tank od the cell. It stores the food, water, oxygen and other things for the cell. It is bean like in shape.
The vacuole is found within a plant cell and animal cell. The plant cells have a large, central vacuole while animal cells have small, multiple vacuoles.
Vacuoles are membrane bounded sacs present in the cytoplasm of the cell. The function of a vacuole is to provide structural support in mature plants , as well as providing storage of food temporarily. A vacuole also serves functions of waste disposal, protection, cell growth etc.
Vacuoles is your answer. In plant cells Vacuoles are very large in animal cells vacuoles are much much smaller usually not even labelled in diagrams.
They are called vacuole
In plants, the vacuole stores food, water, and enzymes, and absorbs the waste products in the cell. In animal cells, smaller vacuoles are used to transport lipids and proteins out of the cell.
Vacuole is located within the cell. It is found in plant cell but little or no vacuole is found in animal cell
The plant cell has a vacuole.
A vacuole is an organelle IN a Eukaryote cell
A vacuole stores materials in the cell.
vacuole
it is chloroplasm
If the cell doesn't have a vacuole, the cell may explode.
The central vacuole is in the plant cell.
The vacuole is the storage part of a cell
a vacuole is the part of a cell that stores water
Vacuole is found in the cytoplasm of the cell.
