White lilies were reported to be Mrs. Kennedy's favorite flower. Someone recalled that her coffin was covered with beautiful white lilies the small variety, the type used in "Mouget Des Bois" perfume (Coty) that was so popular as a fragrance in the 1960's. The lilies were in the shape of a cross, surrounded by what appeared to be green fern clippings. When Carolyn Bessette and JFK, Jr. were married, Carolyn carried a small bouquet of these lilies and JFK, Jr. wore a lily in his boutonniere. It was said that when the guests saw the beautiful bride, coming down the aisle, the sight of her small white bouquet of lilies brought them to tears because they recalled that Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis loved that flower.
Almost certainly Jacqueline Onassis.
The funeral arrangements were made by Jacqueline's family, and such a list would probably be in their possession. It was invite only, at the request of Mrs. Onassis.
Yes she did. Despite having their differences as sister-in-laws, they were very close. Ethel Kennedy reportedly collapsed when she heard the news of Jackie Kennedy's death. She attended both services for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, the first in New York City, and the second at Arlington National Cemetery. She was seen placing flowers upon Onassis' coffin.
Here are two pictures in the related links below with a view of the casket spray. It would appear this was the casket spray used during both the funeral services in New York City and Arlington National Cemetery for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Yes. Lady Bird Johnson was the only former first lady invited to attend the private funeral of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Hillary Rodham Clinton, the current first lady at the time, was also invited and attended.
Not many cameras were allowed for the funeral services, at the request of Mrs. Kennedy. In the photographs taken from the outside, none have shown Lady Bird.
A passage from the Book of Isaiah.
She told John Kennedy jr, Not to cry as a Kennedy does not cry. It was at John Kennedys funeral.
