Eating mold is not generally harmful, but it can be unpleasant; some molds are unhealthy to consume in large quantities. Also, accidentally eating germs, bacteria and mold can result in bad stomach aches.
Eating food that is contaminated with mould is risky and eating such food could result to food poisoning either due to mycotoxin or bacterial contamination and maybe both.
Depends what the mould is on, the conditions it's been growing in and your own immune system. I personally have quite a strong immune system because I wasn't kept in a bubble as a child, I've eaten mouldy bread, raw meat, rotten cheese and all sorts of decomposing vegetables and fruit with no ill effect.
