It depends on what you mean by "done for us." His supporters would say he has done a lot-- he brought the war in Iraq to an end and as a result, most of the troops from that war are home. He championed a bill that reformed healthcare and gave greater access to people who are uninsured or have a pre-existing condition. He supervised the mission that killed Osama bin Laden. He ended Don't Ask/Don't Tell so that gay men and lesbians who have served in the military with distinction could continue their service. He championed the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, to help women to gain pay equity.
His opponents, however, would say he has been a failure because the economy has been very slow to recover, and because they disagree with his stances on equality for gay people or on expanded access to Birth Control, or some of the other social issues on which he has taken a more liberal position. In either case, like several other presidents before him, President Obama has been a very polarizing figure, with his supporters praising how he has improved things for many Americans, and his opponents saying he has only made things much worse.
He is trying to destroy this nation. He's a socialist.
