It's not about what America is doing to stop racism, it's what you are doing to stop racism. If you want tio stop racism, you get together with some of your friends that feel the same way and try to do something to help.

This is a matter of personal opinion, but I believe we are not responsible. I believe that if we are to help solve the problems of others, we must first solve our own.
The person who wished to help may be doing it for several reasons. They may be doing it because they care, to they may be doing it because it makes them feel powerful. If someone's help is unwanted, you could simply tell them that you wish to do whatever you are doing yourself.
When you help others, it will make you feel good about what you are doing. You will also make the person you are helping happy.
While there is racism in the south of the US, there is also racism elsewhere in the country. To think all southerners are racist is just negatively stereotyping a group of people based solely on who they are and can't help but to be which is similar to what many racists do to others.
Doing volunteer work to help others is truly worthwhile.
I do it because I enjoy helping others and I feel good doing it, others do it because they want something from them...
