However presidents in the last century have sought to take a more active role in government than our founding fathers ever intended., but it should be noted that congress has been complicit in this "evolution" of the Imperialist American Presidency> It goes across party lines it is not a right or left issue but an American issue that must be remedied by strong leadership of our Congress.
