Trojans, also named Trojan horses, will secretly install on user's personal computers without letting them know via software downloads, risk-potential websites or email attachments. They are designed to attach and destroy the data and files on the computer, which results in the improper running of the computer, or failure to access the system. Moreover, once the computer the computer is infected by Trojans, it is possible for hackers to access it remotely and do whatever as they like, leaving your files, programs, accounts, passwords unprotected.
Trojan horses can carry viruses. Trojan horses disguise themselves to e something they are not. Trojans can be spread via email.
People make trojan horses to silently hijack the victim's computer without their noticing. Trojan horses are VERY deadly, and can sometimes not be removed from certain antiviruses. Trojans can do everything from track keystrokes, webpages you pull up, and record bank account information, but most trojans mostly do the latter. If you are afraid of getting trojans (which everyone is) download and install a trojan horse remover.
The Greeks gave the Trojans the Trojan horse. After the Trojans accepted their gift, the men hiding inside the horse opened the gates to the previously-impregnable Trojan walls. This enabled the rest of the Greek army to enter unimpeded and slaughter the Trojans inside. Receiving the Trojan horse caused the defeat of the Trojan army.
Not exactly. Some Trojan horses modify them selves slightly when they spread (EG by modify their name) but not enough to count as a mutation.
