We refer to ours as a dachsenji. The rescue we adopted her from had conducted DNA testing that revealed that she's 50% basenji and 50% dachsund, but she is huge compared to other pictures of dachsenjis that I've seen people post. She has the full height of a basenji, but also the length of a dachsund, so it's an interesting combination.

∙ 14y agoI say it should be "dachsenji". I have one and my sister is about to get one. They are a perfect mix. Beautiful dogs with a mind of their own but sweet personalities.
