Avoid foundation with perfume, and foundations with oil. Honestly I swear by my Jane Iredale Amazing Base mineral foundation (it is like zit fighting makeup, and flawless coverage), another good one is josie maran argan oil serum foundation, it moisturizes the skin, keeping the oil and sebum levels normal and preventing dry skin which clogs pores and creates zits. Its not recommended because the foundation will mix with the oil in your skin to block your pores and cause more spots. Powder foundations are good to use if you have oily skin, these leave it dry. Your skin can get very dry and start to peel with powder foundations, if you use them every day. Its best to leave your skin to breathe for 1 day a week and use a moisturiser when your not wearing the powder foundation.
Is liquid foundation good for oily skin?
Treat your skin gently. Scrubbing too much will cause your sensitive skin to flake and look even worse. My favorite oily skin creme is Body Shop brand tea tree oil mattifying gel moisturizer. It give your skin moisture (yes even oily skin needs moisture) and sucks up the oil. Unlike regular creams, it dries and leaves your skin smooth and not shiny. Then put foundation over it if you want to wear foundation. I highly recommend mineral powder foundation over creme. Use a creme concealer to dab over the dark circles or pimple spots, not all over. The mineral foundation will absorb into your skin and give you a natural glow that creme foundation does not. Oh, I forgot..drink TONS of water. It's hard I know. And yes, you will pee a lot. When I remember to do so, my face clears up always. I suffer from wonderful adult acne so believe me I know.

I wouldn't say so, I have that to and have oily skin around my cheeks and forehead but my chin is quite dry, but when I have used it before i have always thought I could find a better one to take away the shine. I advise you dont use MAC studio scuplt also if you have oily skin, because it's a thick heavy gel and isn't shine proof. I find the mineral one's from no7 are quite good at controlling oily skin and overall mineral foundations:) good luck!xo
