∙ 9y agoThe home page for internet Explorer (or Opera or firefox or chrome) or any web browser is the default page designated to be displayed when going to a web site without specifying which page should be displayed.
The name of the home page is usually one of home.html, home.htm, index.html, index.htm, but it can be anything else, and the name may be capitalized. The actual name used depends on which files are available at web site and wahat parameters are set in the tables controlling the web site and how the web is designed.
