The two words operate independently. A democracy is a form of government in which the citizenry directly or indirectly vote for national and/or local policies. Capitalism is an economic system in which private property is protected and individual businesses are allowed to produce in accordance with their own personal and are constrained only by what the market can bear.

As a result, a capitalist democracy refers to any government that embraces the political philosophy of democracy and the economic system of capitalism. Some prominent examples of capitalist democracies include: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Switzerland, Chile, Japan, South Korea, Israel, and Taiwan.

Democracy is govt by people.when people are concerned about their economic conditions or economically sound try to influence govt or govt made policies keeping in view wealthy persons of the state the democracy can termed to be called capitalistic democracy in simple terms.
