I think it's the same advice as dating a younger man - do you have common interests, are you happy, are your lifestyles compatible? I am dating a man 23 years older than me - I am 34 and he is 57. I can say that I have never been happier. We have a lot of things in common, we enjoy the same movies, same activities, same hobbies, we talk about everything and anything. For me the age difference isn't an issue because I don't think about it. I didn't get involved with him because of his age or in spite of it, I considered all the other factors - compatibility, attraction, intellectual discussions, fun..... We have a really great time together. My friends enjoy his company as well and my family are happy that I am treated well and have found someone that truly cares for me. My children are please, my parents think it's wonderful - even though he is their age, and his children agree - even though they are my age. My advice is to realize that "age" is an irrelevant number. Enjoy it and be happy. Just make sure to watch for the same flags you would in any other relationship.
