I'm a native New Yorker, and I'm not familiar with any cocktail that's associated with the city, unlike New Orleans, which is associated with a few drinks, including the Ramos Gin Fizz. However, there is an obscure cocktail called the New Yorker. Ingredients: 1 1/2 oz. Bourbon 1 wedge of lime 2 or 3 dashes of grenadine Pour bourbon over ice cubes in an old-fashioned glass. Squeeze the lime wedge into the drink and drop into glass. Add grenadine, stir well, and serve. The Manhattan? Sorry, I don't have the recipe.
