It is served on ice, and the glass is rimmed with celery salt. There is a garnish as well traditionally a stalk of celery but is also often pickled asparagus spears, green-beans or in seafood restaurants a prawn. A Caesar without alcohol is commonly referred to as a "Virgin Caesar".
