Computer organization is how operational attributes are linked together and contribute to realise the architectural specifications.

Computer architecture is the architectural attrributes like physical address memory,CPU and how they should be made and made to coordinate with each other keeping the future demands and goals in mind.

Computer architecture comes before computer organiation. Its like building the design and architecture of house takes maximum time and then organisation is building house by bricks or by latest technology keeping the basic layout and architecture of house in mind.

Architecture refers to those characteristics you need to consider in order to develop a program in assembly language. Those includes microprocessors instruction set, word size (8 bits, 16 bits, etc.), available registers (those visible for programming), data types and addressing modes.

Organization refers to implementation, characteristics not visible when programming in assembly like the controls signals to actually implement instructions, what technology is used to implement RAM or microprocessors components, operational frecuency within components, physical size of each components, number of data paths used to communicates components inside the microprocessor.

Arhitecture is whether your car have automatic or manual transmission. Organization is whether it use a carburetor or electronic fuel injection.

Computer Organization is the study of internal parts of computer, how computer is created, what makes a computer, etc. Its a study of Computer Architecture. e.g. what do u mean by CPU, ALU, Memory (RAM), ROM, Cache Memory, Hard Drive or Hard Disk, Mother Board, what is a Processor, How computer SPEED is measured and similar things. It involves learning meanings of terms such as KB, MB, GB, TB (Tera Bytes), MHz (Megahertz), GHz (Gigahertz), etc, etc. Computer Organization is one the the MOST Important and basic topic in Computer Science.

An architecture is design. But not all design is architecture.Architecture establishes constraints on downstream activity and those activity must produce artifacts. But architecture does define an implementation. But design defines the implementation.

Computer architecture refers to those attributes of a system visible to a programmer or put another way those attributes that have a direct impact on the logical execution of a program. Computer architecture is define as a "The art and science of assembling logical elements to form a computing device." It sets the standard for all devices that connect to it and all the software that runs on it. It is based on the type of programs that will run (business, scientific) and the number of programs that run concurrently. Computer organization refers to the operational units and their interconnections that realize the architectural specifications. Computer organization is a study of a Computer Architecture. E.g. Memory, Registers, RAM, ROM, CPU, ALU, 16 bit/ 32 bit/ 64 bit architecture, what different parts makes a computer, etc.

Computer architecture means behavior and structure of system while "computer organization" deals with how the various hardware components interact with each other to perform various functionalities (micro instructions) and are usually transparent to the user

A computer's architecture is its abstract model and is the programmer's view in terms of instructions, addressing modes and registers. A computer's organization expresses the realization of the architecture. Architecture describes whatthe computer does and organization describes how it does it. Architecture and organization are independent; you can change the organization of a computer without changing its architecture. For example, a 64-bit architecture can be internally organized as a true 64-bit machine or as a 16-bit machine that uses four cycles to handle 64-bit values. The difference between architecture and organization is best illustrated by a non-computer example. Is the gear lever in a car part of its architecture or organization? The architecture of a car is simple; it transports you from A to B. The gear lever belongs to the car's organization because it implements the function of a car but is not part of that function (a car does not intrinsically need a gear lever).

Difference between von newman and Harvard computer architecture?

In a von Neumann architecture, program and data are stored in the same memory and managed by the same information-handling subsystem. In the Harvard architecture, program and data are stored and handled by different subsystems. This is the essential difference between the two architectures. In the original "Harvard computer", built in 1944 and for which the architecture is named, the program-handling task and the data-handling task were sufficiently different to result in two different storage technologies. Today, the vast majority of computers are von Neumann architecture because of the efficiencies gained in designing, implementing, and operating one memory system instead of two. However, in some niches, particularly certain embedded applications where the program is more-or-less hard wired, task requirements are such that the Harvard architecture can provide distinct operational advantages. Under certain conditions, a Harvard computer can be much faster than a von Neumann computer because data and program do not contend for the same information pathway, and storing the program in an immutable read-only memory can result in vast reliability improvements.

What is meant by server in an organization?

Computer architecture is the structure and organization of a computer's hardware or software system. Software engineering is the technological and managerial discipline concerned with systematic production and maintenance of software products. Computer Architecture is the science and art of selecting and interconnecting hardware components to create computers that meet functional, performance and cost goals. Computer architecture is not about using computers to design buildings.

What is computer architecture and computer organization?

What is architecture?Architecture is the bit of the CPU (Central Processing Unit, or Processor) and/or software. The software can be an Operating System (such as Windows, MAC, or Linux) or even Video Games and other applications. The bit is the amount of data flow that goes through the CPU. Common bits today are 32-bit and 64-bit. If you have a 32-bit CPU, you MUST use a 32-bit OS (Operating System). If you have a 64-bit you can run BOTH 32-bit or 64-bit.What should you chose? If you have a 64-bit CPU, choose 64-bit. It can allocate more RAM (Random Access Memory) and can run both 32-bit and 64-bit software.Seeing x86?That is a 32-bit architecture. Why is it called this? I have no idea. What is a computer organization? When you install an OS, you are asked your name, and organization you work for. It is to register that computer in your name in case anyone needs to find out who it belongs to. If you don't have an organization you can put your address, or leave it blank.
