The Bible used by the Catholic church contains additional books that are not used by Protestant denominations (but do tend to also be used by Orthodox churches) following the Alexandrian Cannonical doctrine. These books are Tobias, Judith, 1 Machabees, 2 Machabees, Wisdom and Ecclesiasticus. American Catholics generally use the New American or New Jerusalem translation of the Bible which is slightly different from the KJV or NIV generally used by Protestants. The overall messages of the books of the Bible that are the same in all denominations and translations is generally the same, but may be interpreted differently by each individual and each church.

The Hebrew Bible is basically what Christians would call the Old Testament. The Christian Bible consists of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Quoting from Wikipedia Encyclopaedia - Hebrew Bible is a term that refers to the common/shared portions of the Tanakh (Jewish canon) and the Christian canons. In its Latin form, Biblia Hebraica, it traditionally serves as a title for printed editions of the Masoretic Text. * Though commonly used by Jews, the term Tanakh is derived from an acronym of the Hebrew names of the constituent parts of the Hebrew Bible, Torah ("Teaching"), Nevi'im ("Prophets"), and Ketuvim ("Writings"), ... . It also refers to the particular arrangement of the biblical books as found in Judaism, and even to the exact features of the Masoretic Text. None of this is central to the Bible in the Christian textual tradition. The Jewish and Christian faiths share the same historical beginnings, both being founded through the same Patriarchs. Christians know them in the Christian Old Testament and Jews know them in the Hebrew Bible. The Christian Bible contains two "Testaments", The Old and The New. There is no Jewish Biblical Book equivalent to the Christian New Testament.

The Protestant Bible is missing several books from the original Bible assembled in 364 AD by the Council of Laodicea.

Martin Luther removed multiple books from the Old Testament. He removed the book of Sirach, Wisdom, Tobit, Judith, Baruch and the two books of Maccabees from the Bible.

Thus the Catholic bible will contain these books and the Protestant bible will not.

This is not to be confused with the Biblical Apogrypha, which is all the books that were considered for Holy Scripture, but ultimately rejected in the Council of Laodicea. Some Protestants get confused and think that all of the Biblical Apogrypha is included in the Catholic Bible, when this is not true.

Roman Catholic AnswerNo difference, Catholic and Christian is the same thing. I imagine that you are asking the difference between a Catholic/Christian Bible and a protestant Bible, which protestants may refer to as a Christian Bible. Protestants have removed a number of books from the Old Testament as they were uncomfortable with not believing things that the Bible said, so they changed the Bible.
