Ipad or Ipad WIFI can access WiFi network ( like iPod touch) where as IPad 3g has SIM card slot and can access internet where WiFi networks are not available ( you require Data Plan from AT&T in US) for Ipad 3G if you want to access internet where WiFi network is not available.
What happens if you cancel the monthly payment on the Ipad 3g, does it still work?
I own the iPad Wi-Fi model. There are two different models. There is the iPad Wi-Fi model and the iPad Wi-Fi +3G model. The difference with 3G is its supposed to be faster. And the most convenient thing with an iPad Wi-Fi + 3G model is that you can access the internet wherever you go without having to connect to Wi-Fi.
The IPad in 3g is a slower, older version while the IPad 2 is the newer, faster, sleeker tablet from the Apple corporation. The IPad 2 is more expensive though.
Only if you want to use it on your 3G iPad.
The only difference between the US and UK iPads (See links below) will be the network to which the 3G version connects. And also I believe the keyboard is different
The iPad3 aka "The new iPad". If you were asking what it it actually is, its a tablet computer.
Wi Fi and 3G
Yes! The only difference beetween a Ipad and a Ipad 3g is the technology
If you do purchase an iPad with 3G, you will not need home wireless internet. But you can also connect to a home wireless internet with an iPad with 3G. You will need to pay monthly for the AT&T 3G fees.
No.
The iPad accesses the web via its Wi-Fi or 3G connection (if you have a 3G model).
In the related links you'll find a picture of an iPad with two things circled; the 3G sensor at the top and the number of GB. If your iPad has a 3G sensor then it is a WiFi + 3G iPad and if it doesn't then it's just a WiFi iPad. Also it shows the number of GB.
No, you cannot. The iPad requires different hardware which enables it to receive a 3G signal from your carrier. The wi-fi model of the iPad does not have the black piece on the top of the back. the black piece is what receives the signal.
