What is the difference from a non volcano and active volcano?

Effusive eruptions occur when hot, (1200oC) runny basalt magmas reach the surface. Dissolved gases escape easily as the magma erupts, forming lava that flows downhill quite easily. Effusive eruptions build up gently-sloping Shield Volcanoes like Hawaii.

Explosive eruptions occur where cooler, more viscous magmas (such as andesite) reach the surface. Dissolved gases cannot escape as easily, so pressure may build up until gas explosions blast rock and lava fragments into the air! Lava flows are much more thick and sticky so do not flow downhill as easily. These eruptions build up more steeply-sloping Composite volcanoes like this one in Chile.

i think.... when a volcano explodes its because the pressure built up till it gos bang and a non explosive one just slowy leaks out caus its not held in by nething so no pressure

I do have to say, though, that I've never heard anyone use the term "goes bang" when explaining volcanos... You rock for that.

The difference from a non-volcano and an active volcano is that active volcanoes still erupt but non-volcanoes are extinct!

Do you mean dormant and active? An active volcano has lava in the lava chamber, while a dormant volcano has no lava whatsoever.

non explosive volcanoes are dormant and will not erupt, whereas explosive volcanoes will erupt at some point.
