Michael Jackson.

funny, but no.

fear of rejection cannot be correctly ascribed to any individual term or psychological definition in that many people fear rejection without necessarily being defined by some scientific term or psychological diagnosis.

Those, who have an Avoidant Personality Disorder are in particular sensitive to rejection (psychologytoday.com/diagnosis dictionary).

but, avoidance is also a characteristic of some of the many defense mechanisms that the ego uses to steer clear of situations that promote anxiety such as public speaking or taking a test.
