Thailand is country code +66, and Bangkok is area code 02, which becomes +66 2 in international format.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)

Thailand is telephone country code +66, and you must drop the trunk prefix 0 from the beginning of the Thai domestic telephone number. Most mobile numbers begin with +66 8, +66 90 or +66 91.

On a mobile phone, you can dial in international format, beginning with +66 (including the plus symbol).

Otherwise, replace the plus symbol with YOUR international access prefix (depends on where you are calling FROM). The most common prefix is 00, but many countries use other prefixes.
