No spark would usually be the ignition coil.
Could be the the V6 or the V8 engine but, the ECT sensor should be next to the thermostat housing or on the drivers side of the engine between the back two spark plugs.
on the left side of the motor by the spark plugs
It is located in front of the drive pulley assembly. Yes it could cause no spark and no start. The sensor costs 70.00 to 120.00. on the average.
Not directly. The oxygen sensor measures oxygen levels in the exhaust. The computer uses that to calculate fuel and spark timing. If an oxygen sensor is malfunctioning, it could cause idle problems. Not directly. The oxygen sensor measures oxygen levels in the exhaust. The computer uses that to calculate fuel and spark timing. lots of thangs. could be bad starter, oxygen sensor/s, spark plugs, map sensor, fuel pump/filter/relay switch, catalytic converter, pcv hose, plus many more. im no mechanic but i had bought all these items for my 92 caprice classic
Several things can cause no spark. A bad coil pack, bad crankshaft sensor and camshaft sensor are good places to start.
Yes. The Crank sensor monitors the position and rotational speed of the engine to determine timing for ignition. if it is not functioning you will get no spark.
The distributor could be failling, there might not be enough fuel or air reaching the engine (too much is bad too), or your spark plugs/wires are damaged or not to spec.
bad fuse, bad coils, bad ignition modual
yes when it is not working properly
No, a faulty knock sensor will cause a code 43 normally. check for spark, diconnect a wire from a plug, install a plug in the wire, lay it on something metal, have an assistant crank the motor and watch for spark...
Replace Crankshaft sensor=Flywheel sensor. Check rotor
