Harrison was the ninth president of the US but served for only one month in 1841. after dying of pneumonia. He was known as a Indian fighter and a general in the war of 1812. He also served as a territorial governor of Indiana then moved to Ohio where he was elected to Congress, then to the US Senate. Later he was appointed ambassador to Columbia. He grew up in Virginia where his father signed the Declaration of Independence was a governor of Virginia.
