No. Greece cannot qualify for being a tropical country because it lies north of the Tropic of Cancer and the sun is never even 80 degrees above the southern horizon. The two tropic lines mark the northern and southern extent at which the sun can be at it's zenith (directly overhead) at noon.
The climate in Italy does because Italy is always hot so they will help them grow.
Its normally hot and the local foods they have are cheaper because they grow locally of course, (eg: tomatoes-sauces, olives-oliveoil, sunflowers-sunfloweroil, etc...)
