In the US history, US has declared war on the U.K., Mexico, Spain, Germany (WWI-WWII), Austria-Hungary (WWI), Japan (WWII), Italy (WWII), Bulgaria (WWII), Romania (WWII).

The U.S. did NOT declare war on Russia. Hence the name "COLD" War
