Many women also became career women and some even became CEO's of companies they either work for or started themselves. Many women had to become the primary bread winner because their marriages ended or they were raising kids on their own. Some women returned to school at many different ages. Some men became stay at home dads while the mom went to work at a career. Many women became workers in jobs that were previously held by men only. The military began changing what women could do in the military. Laws were changed to protect women, children and forced men to pay child support, never do sexual harassment. The women began to receive more of the respect and honor the women wanted from men. Equal pay did work out in some industries but in many businesses today equal pay for equal work has not happened yet.
