it all depends did you price the starter ? how much per hr do they charge? how hard is it to get to? do you have to take off a skid plate? I had a starter replaced on my 1992 Blazer it was 300.00 Well, the shop quotes me 310 for the part; Pep boys says it's 250 out the door. Guess I'll have it towed out of the local shop. thanks I paid 172 at autozone with a lifetime warranty which was smart because it died again 2year later. A very easy job. Just two easily reached 15mm bolts and it pops right off. You might want to remove the cross member to make installing the new one easier.
A clone trooper trooper head would win... Status: a clone trooper head would just Hop on the Obi-wan head and win!
About 1 hour labor which would be around $75 at a dealer. That is not counting the price of the starter.
To purchase a car starter you would need to visit an automotive store like Auto Zone or Pep Boys. The price of a starter depends on the year, make and model of the car.
The sister vehicle of the Isuzu Trooper is the Acura SLX
I have an Isuzu Trooper II 1985 and when the heater fan stopped working it was because the alternator was going out. I found that out a few months and a few dollars later, unfortunately.
stromtrooper
Logde Camp would be the better brand when is comes to the charcoal chimney starter . This brand has better reviews , better quality and also a better price for the product .
Remove the positive battery cable first. The starter is on the passenger side of the engine. Might be easier to get to from below. Remove the bolts holding the wiring to it than the bolts that mount the starter in place. Be careful if it has shims that you make sure you put them back in the same way. (These are little thin spacers that go between the mounting surface and the starter). Installation is reverse. Probably would take you no more than 30 minutes to do it all.
That would rock, unfortunately he isn't
why would my starter wire burn, going from starter to battery
no the good old days would require a trooper to be no less than 6' tall.this would greatly decrease the amount of those who would qualify for the job of trooper.
You need to check all your wireing from your battery to you silenoid to your starter you might have a bad connection some where. Clean the battery posts really good and the battery terminals. I fixed mine by scraping the battery post with a knife after using battery cleaner. I thought I had to change the starter, but that's all it was- the dirty post.
