PageRank is Google's link analysis algorithm, designed by Larry Page (Google co-founder) to assign a value to every page on the internet, to help SERP ranking determination. Page rank is a measure of 0-10 (10 being the highest) based on a somewhat logorithmic scale of the number of, or quality of the inbound links specifically to that page. For example, it may take 100 inbound links to a page to gain that page a PR=2, but only 1 link from a PR=4 page.

You can get rid of your iGoogle page by going to your upper righgt and clicking on Classic Home and it should take you back to your normal google page.
If you go to your Google home page you will see a link in the upper right hand corner that says "Change Theme". Simply click on this link and it will take a you to a long list of different themes that you can choose from to personalize your Google homepage.
It depends on the size of the page to be opened. A page if larger in size will take longer to load.

PHP allows for much more customization and interactivity. Take Google, for example. Without dynamic programming, Google would have to create every search result page by hand. With Python (similar to PHP), they can simply query their database for results.
