What type of filter do you have? If you have a DE filter then you may have cracks in the manifold that the tubes slot into or the filter tubes are falling out of the manifold. Either way you will most probably need to buy a new manifold.

You shouldn't loose any unless you are vacuuming to waste. If you are vacuuming to waste it depends on how long you take and the sise of your pump.

What setting do you turn a hayward sand filer series 200 too when vacuuming?

You have two options when vacuuming a pool. If it a normal weekly vacuume you will set your filter valve to the filter position. This will send the water through the filter and back to the pool. Once your done vacuuming, you then backwash and rinse the filter. A good ratio is 3 min to back wash and 30 seconds to rinse. If your pool is extremely dirty like at the begining of the year, You can sometimes set the filter to the waste position. This will bypass the filter and send the water down the backwash line. This lowers the water in the pool. If your pool is extremely dirty and you try to vacuum with it set to filter, the filter will not catch all the dirt and some will end up back in the pool in the form of dirty or cloudy water. As a pool profesional I always strived for clear water first. You can't clean what you can't see.

Should I change the water in my fish tank even if there is a bubble nest or should i change the water because its pretty dirty but i dont want to harm the bubbles or eggs HELP?

You should be changing 10% of the water in your fish tank each week. Changing 10% and vacuuming the substrate weekly to remove the debris is a must. By removing 10% of the water and vacuuming the substrate will not disturb the bubble nest, You can get the vacuum from your local pet store.

Clean water is added to a tank full of dirty water. After some time the tank is full of clean water. Dirty water disappears. What is the principle and how does it work?

The principle is 'dilution': with the first addition of clean water to dirty water, the dirty water becomes less dirty because it is diluted by the clean water. With the continued addition of clean water to dirty water, eventually the dirty water will be completely diluted and there will be no dirty water left; it will all be replaced by clean water.
